Eligibility & Safety
We provide care for adult men living in the United Kingdom.
To ensure safe and appropriate care, there are some situations where we are unable to provide treatment:
- Individuals under the age of 18
- Patients living outside the United Kingdom
- Acute or urgent medical conditions
- Drug or alcohol dependency or withdrawal
We also do not routinely initiate specialist medications from other hospital-based specialties (for example, ADHD or high-risk psychiatric treatments). Controlled drugs are only prescribed in exceptional circumstances, and we do not prescribe bio-identical hormones.
If you are unsure whether we can help, our team will be happy to advise — please contact us at hello@h3health.co.uk
No. H3 Health is not an emergency service and is not set up to manage urgent or severe medical problems.
If you require immediate medical attention, please contact NHS 111 or dial 999.
For non-urgent concerns, we can assess and support you through a scheduled consultation.
Yes. H3 Health is regulated by the Care Quality Commission (CQC), the independent regulator of health and social care services in England. This means our service meets established standards for safety, quality, and clinical care.
We ask for your GP details to support safe, coordinated care. With your consent, we may share relevant information about your treatment so your GP has a complete picture of your health.
Appointments
All consultations are conducted remotely via secure video.
You will be seen by a UK-trained, GMC-registered GP with experience in men’s health.
Standard consultations are 30 minutes.
Health MOTs are structured as two 30-minute consultations — an initial assessment, followed by a results review once your blood tests are available.
Tests & Investigations
If tests are required, your doctor will explain what is needed and arrange these through our trusted partners.
We work with established UK providers to ensure safe and reliable testing:
- Randox and Nationwide Pathology for laboratory services
- HIME for nurse-led home blood collection, where appropriate
We usually arrange blood tests through our trusted partner providers to ensure consistency and reliability of results.
If you already have recent blood test results, we are happy to review them, provided they have been carried out by a reputable provider (such as your NHS GP or an accredited laboratory).
Prescriptions
Prescriptions are issued electronically via our partner pharmacy, CloudRx, and delivered directly to your home, usually within a few days of being issued.
Results & Follow-up
Most results are available within a few days, depending on the test. Your doctor will review them promptly and provide clear guidance on any next steps.
Your doctor will review your results and send them to you via a secure link, together with clear clinical comments and recommended next steps, including whether a follow-up consultation is needed.
Yes. Wherever possible, we aim to provide continuity by booking you with the same doctor for follow-up and ongoing care. This helps ensure your care is consistent, personalised, and based on a clear understanding of your health over time.
If appropriate, a follow-up consultation will be arranged to review your results and discuss next steps in more detail.
Treatment is only started once appropriate assessment and any necessary investigations have been completed. Your doctor will explain the timing clearly and ensure it is safe and appropriate before prescribing.
If treatment is appropriate, your doctor will discuss this with you and arrange appropriate follow-up and monitoring. Ongoing care is tailored to your individual needs, with regular review to ensure treatment remains safe and effective.
Yes. You will receive a written summary of your consultation for your records. This is typically provided as a copy of the clinical letter prepared for your NHS GP, whether or not you choose for it to be shared.
Fees & Payments
The consultation fee covers your appointment with a doctor. Tests, prescriptions, and follow-up consultations are charged separately.
The cost of blood tests depends on the type and number of tests required. Your doctor will recommend appropriate investigations based on your symptoms and will explain the costs clearly before any testing is arranged.
Any additional costs will always be explained in advance before proceeding.
Accessibility & Support
Yes. Please let us know in advance if you require an interpreter, and we will arrange this for your appointment.
Yes. We aim to make care as accessible as possible and can offer longer appointments or tailored support where needed.
Consent & Data Sharing
To help us set up your care safely and efficiently, we will ask for a few details before your first appointment:
- Proof of identity (such as a passport or photo ID)
- Your consent to share relevant details with our partner providers (CloudRx, Randox, Nationwide Pathology, and HIME) for prescribing, blood testing (including sample collection), and care delivery
- Your preference regarding sharing relevant clinical information with your NHS GP (we strongly recommend this to support safe and continuous care)
We only share relevant information with trusted partner providers involved in your care, such as our pharmacy and laboratory partners, where this is necessary to deliver your treatment safely.
We will also ask for your consent to share relevant clinical information with your NHS GP to support continuity of care.
Your personal and medical information is stored securely in line with UK data protection laws, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). We use secure systems to ensure your data is handled safely and confidentially.
No. Sharing information with your NHS GP is optional.
However, we strongly recommend this as it supports safe, coordinated care and ensures your GP is aware of any diagnoses, treatments, or medications provided.
